A website with a built-in CMS framework enables you, or designated staff, to easily log into a web portal to make edits. This does require learning how to use the CMS system. However, Hairy Dog Digital can provide training for your in-house editor(s).

Hairy Dog Digital does not recommend managing content this way, unless you use an application supporting current web standards and are trained on the application.

It’s not that we don’t want to, but… Hairy Dog Digital cannot support your technical needs for the editing software (because any issues will be software-related). If you have problems, then you’ll be at the mercy of that software’s technical support line.

Further, using an out-of-date external application (such as FrontPage) for editing, adds out-of-date code to your site, which can affect formatting and to an extent, SEO rankings. Over time, the website can become unpredictable and you may eventually need to start from scratch to recreate a clean, working site.
